Omer Yalcin is a Faculty Fellow at the Data Analytics and Computational Social Science (DACSS) program at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Before that, he completed his PhD in Political Science and Social Data Analytics at the Pennsylvania State University. He works in the area of elite political networks, misinformation, and social media. At DACSS, he teaches quantitative analysis and machine learning.
