Renewing Democracy, an initiative of the Solutions Journalism Network, encourages reporting about how people and institutions are attempting to reinvigorate democracy in communities across the country.
Solutions Journalism Network will provide more than 100 grants through 2020 to reporters and news organizations to support stories, projects and collaborations that examine how communities are responding to problems such as gerrymandering, the opioid crisis and threats to religious freedom and tolerance.
