Facebook recently announced it had dismantled a number of alleged disinformation campaigns, including Russian troll accounts targeting Democratic presidential candidates. Over the summer, Twitter and Facebook suspended thousands of accounts they alleged to be spreading Chinese disinformation about Hong Kong protesters.
