Over 80 groups demand release of jailed journalists in Africa amid pandemic

The International Press Institute (IPI), a global network of editors, media executives and leading journalists for press freedom, joined 80 other press freedom and human rights organizations from all over the world to call on 10 African countries to release all journalists from prison amid the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
