PAIRSx Public Sector is an open one-day symposium that will be hosted at the Ada Lovelace Institute on 5th November 2026 to explore how public bodies are engaging and involving the public and civil society organisations around their adoption of AI, particularly in the UK.
The PAIRSx Public Sector symposium is a spin-out event from the Participatory AI Research and Practice Symposium (PAIRS) series which are designed as spaces to present research and case studies on the state of the art in participatory development and governance of AI and to build stronger connections across the field.
We seek to create a space that is equally open to contributions and attendance from civil society, academia, the public sector and industry, and that welcomes both presentation of practice, and empirical or theoretical work.
