The new Fairwork US team based at UC Hastings College of Law is looking for a Research Fellow.
This is a full-time one year position with a remuneration of $72,800.
Reporting to the Principal Investigator, Professor Veena Dubal, the Fellow will conduct primary and secondary research with and on platform workers in the US and use that research to leverage change on behalf of gig workers. The Fellow will also work with a network of international partners and collaborate on research and publications.
About the Research Fellow:
The ideal candidate(s) will have:
- A Master’s degree in sociology, geography, anthropology, or a related field (required)
- Academic or professional experience in developing a research project.
- Academic or professional experience in conducting qualitative research (including doing interviews, analyzing and interpreting data).
