The Mohammad Bin Rashid School of Communication (MBRSC), the first of its kind in the Arabian Gulf region, at the American University in Dubai invites qualified applicants for the position of Assistant / Associate Professor of Communication & Information Studies (Leadership and Innovation in Contemporary Media) to begin teaching in Fall 2018.The School invites qualified applicants for the full-time opening to teach Leadership and Innovation in Contemporary Media (LICM) graduate courses. Candidates have solid credentials in teaching the foundational concepts, techniques, and frameworks for understanding, managing, and leading new initiatives in emerging media.
Responsibilities will include teaching graduate courses that will critically examine the role of social media in local and global contexts, examine various media business strategies that foster creativity and success in managing creative media, look into product marketing in emerging media, and teach contemporary consumer research while highlighting new means and opportunities to access the consumers.
