Job Opening | Computational Disinformation Analyst – New Knowledge

We are looking for a computational social scientist or data journalist who can identify patterns of online disinformation.

We help companies understand and defend themselves against online disinformation. Day-to-day you’ll work with a rapidly growing team of intelligence analysts and machine learning experts. You’ll conduct investigations, analyze data, and produce reports about your analysis for executives, government partners, and journalists. Collaborating will be huge, and there’s a lot to do – there’s no shortage of exciting work. There are a lot of resources available to us and you’ll be early in the company. Requirements:

• Curiosity
• Comfort with data preparation and modeling in Python or R
• Strong communication and writing ability
• Previous experience investigating online disinformation is preferred
• Skills and personality to operate effectively in a very fast-paced, complex business
• Comfortable independently learning things you haven’t done before
• Enjoys working as part of a team or on your own
